Work

20 years of making an impact.

Here are some of my favourite projects from over the years.

Tails.com

Marketing Lead

I built a DTC shop on BigCommerce to sell our seasonal range to non-Tails.com subscribers – driving £100K incremental revenue over a 12 week period and increasing profitability.

I launched the brand successfully in the Veterinary space. Within one year I had increased unprompted awareness from 13% to 54% and with a 77% positivity rating

I project managed the launch of The Happy Dog Cookbook – gained over 60 pieces of press coverage including Hello Magazine and national newspapers.

Union Coffee

Head of Brand

Launched mono-plastic packaging making all grocery bags fully recyclable. I project managed NPD launches into our biggest grocery retail customer. I was quoted in ‘The Grocer’ – career ambition reached!

Tesco

Commercial Manager

I launched a new category into Tesco (Gift Cards). Hit £42M turnover target in year one and £80M target in year two. In 2021, category turnover hit £0.5bn.

I was responsible for full P&L, £2.5M marketing budget, range decisions and relationships with our biggest partners (iTunes, Amazon, Google)

Want to know what links HMV, horse meat and the worst day of my career?

Tate & Lyle

Regional Marketing Lead – EMEA

I worked for the food ingredients side of Tate & Lyle, selling things like starches, proteins and sweeteners into businesses such as Unilever, Coca Cola, Heineken.

I took direction from the central team (Chicago) and turned information into region/customer relevant marketing and messaging.

I led our presence at the annual Gulfoods show in Dubai (the world’s largest food exhibition) and was responsible for event strategy, communications, management and PR – mainly showcasing our innovations in sugar and fat reduction
and protein enhancement.

Massive job, massive budgets, incredible global team.

North London Wine School

Director & Wine Tutor

After gaining my wine qualifications, I started my own business and opened my own wine school in 2016.

I developed wine tasting programmes for consumers, corporates and WSET students.

I’ve led tastings at venues across London, in some cases with 300 participants. This experience has led me to be confident when speaking in public.

I had a profitable exit at the end of year two.
